...No Perfect People Allowed!!! That is what we called it and what a time we had. What was it? Trinity Assembly of God’s 2008 Fall Retreat in Gatlinburg with Kris Swiatoch. We had a great time of ministry and fellowship as we took 36 Single Adults to the Greystone Lodge in downtown Gatlinburg for a fun filled weekend.
My name is Pastor Tim McLauchlin and I just want to let everyone know what an awesome time we had as Kris ministered to us this past September 19th-21st. Kris used the movie The Perfect Gift to minister to us non perfect people and we saw chains loosed this weekend. People that were struggling with depression, fear of failure and no self-esteem walked away with a new lease on life and a closer walk with God. Friendships were built and lives were changed by the power of God and through his messenger.
I say thank you to Kris for using her gifts and talents to minister to Single Adults. And to you SAM Leaders I want to say, call and let Kris minister at your next retreat or conference, it will make an impact on your ministry.

Almost everyone who attended our conference had no idea who Kris was, but by the end of our conference not only did they know her, but had grown to love her. She has a way of connecting with people that very few people have. She didn't come to just speak, she came to develop a relationship with everyone that attended. Her humor and tranparency brought people in, and the Biblical truths she presented kept them there. It was truly a joy to have her come and speak to our group. Whether you are single or not, Kris has something for you. We had her stay over and speak in our worship service on Sunday morning. We have had many guest speakers fill our pulpit on Sunday mornings but very few have had the postive impact Kris had. She spoke to our congregation about how each person can minister to single adults and several had commented to me how God had called them to do more to reach those in our church and community.
